3.1 Calendar Settings

3.1.1 Sync Calendar:

  • Click the "Sync Calendar" button to initiate or re-authenticate your Google or Microsoft calendar connection.

3.1.2 Privacy: "Sync guest data only for meetings where the Clade Analyst feature is enabled."

  • OFF (Default): Clade will sync meeting titles and times but will not pull in guest/participant email addresses from your calendar unless you explicitly toggle the "Clade Analyst" ON for that specific meeting (as described in 3.3.1). This is the more privacy-conscious default.
  • ON: If you turn this setting ON, Clade will sync guest email addresses for all meetings from your calendar, even if the Clade Analyst is not enabled for them. This might be useful if you want Clade to have broader participant context but could have privacy implications.

3.1 Configuring Your Clade Scheduler Link & Native Meeting Defaults

These settings primarily affect meetings scheduled by external parties using your Clade scheduling link).

3.2.1 Automatically Create a Workspace:

  • ON/OFF Toggle.
  • If ON, when a meeting is booked via your Clade scheduling link (or potentially when you "Create New Meeting" in Clade and don't link an existing one), a new Investment Workspace will automatically be created and associated with the meeting. This is useful for organizing meeting intelligence by entity. The workspace name is typically derived from the company name provided during booking or meeting creation.

3.2.2 Automatically Transcribe:

  • ON/OFF Toggle.
  • If ON (usually the default for Clade-originated meetings), all meetings scheduled through your Clade link will have the Clade Analyst invited and transcription enabled by default.

3.2.3 Scheduling Link Availability & Preferences (Details for these are typically found in a separate "Booking Options" or "Availability" sub-section if not directly listed here as per the video):

  • Define Availability Blocks: Set the specific days and time windows when you are available for meetings booked via your Clade link.
  • Buffer Time: Set a time buffer before and after meetings (e.g., 15 minutes) to prevent back-to-back bookings.
  • Booking Notice: Minimum lead time required for someone to book a meeting with you (e.g., at least 1 day in advance).
  • Future Booking Limit: How far into the future people can book meetings (e.g., no more than 1 month out).
  • Default Event Duration: The standard length for meetings booked via your link (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes).

3.3 Meeting Analyst Settings

Customize how the Clade Analyst behaves and processes information.

3.3.1 Defining the Analyst Style for Notes [BETA]:

  • Level of Detail: Choose from:
    • Balanced (Default): A good mix of summary and detail.
    • Detailed: More comprehensive, capturing more nuance.
    • High-Level: More concise, focusing on the most critical points.
  • Style: Choose from:
    • Paragraphs (Default): Notes presented in paragraph form.
    • Bullet Points: Notes presented primarily as bulleted lists.

3.3.2 Default Auto-Join Preferences for Clade Analyst (for synced external calendar meetings):
This setting determines if the Clade Analyst is automatically toggled ON for meetings coming from your synced external calendar.

  • OFF (Default): You will need to manually toggle the "Clade Analyst" ON for each synced meeting you want processed (as in Section 3.3.1).
  • ON: If turned ON, you can select from:
    • All Meetings: Clade Analyst will be toggled ON for all synced meetings.
    • Meetings I am invited to: Analyst ON only for meetings where you are an invitee.
    • Meetings I host: Analyst ON only for meetings where you are the organizer.

3.3.3 Meeting Briefing [BETA]:

  • Enable/Disable Toggle: Turn ON to receive pre-meeting briefing emails.
  • Set Reminder Time: If enabled, choose when you want to receive the briefing (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours before the meeting).
3.3.4 Automatically Share Transcript with Guests [BETA]:
  • Enable/Disable Toggle.
  • If ON, after the meeting, an email containing a link to the meeting transcript will be automatically sent to all guests (GPs/deal sponsors) who were part of the call. Guests will need to log in to Clade (or create a guest account) to view the transcript for security. Meeting notes remain private to your team unless explicitly shared elsewhere.
